Dental Implants in Cape Coral, Florida
If you have missing teeth, or teeth so badly damaged or decayed that they need to be extracted, Dr. Molzan can help you have a beautiful, functional smile again with dental implants. For 38 years, he has been helping people like you enjoy the benefits provided by this wonderful option for replacing failing or missing teeth. He uses his vast experience and skill along with the latest technology to make implant treatment precise, efficient and comfortable for his patients.
What Is a Dental Implant?
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root made of strong biocompatible material. It is placed in the jawbone, and a crown, dental bridge or denture is attached. Dr. Molzan typically uses implants made of titanium, though he does offer ceramic implants for patients who want to avoid metal material in their mouth.
Considered the modern tooth replacement solution, dental implants so closely mimic the appearance and function of natural teeth that most people can’t tell the difference. They look, feel and act just like natural teeth. Dental implants also help preserve bone in the jaw, preventing the collapsed, wrinkled look that occurs from progressive bone loss as a result of missing teeth and wearing traditional dentures.

Experienced Implant Expert
Dr. Molzan is a board-certified implant specialist and has successfully placed over 25,000 implants in his career so far. He trained with Paulo Malo, who pioneered the technology and protocols that make New Final Teeth in One Day possible, and has continued to broaden his skills ever since with ongoing education courses. Dr. Molzan even teaches and lectures to other dentists on implant treatment.
Meticulous, High-Tech Planning
Ours was the first practice in southwest Florida to provide full-service implant therapy to the public, and we have continually maintained the most updated dental technology to keep at the cutting edge of implant dentistry.
Dr. Molzan does extensive planning using this technology to ensure the utmost accuracy and efficiency for every case. A 3D CT dental scan allows Dr. Molzan to see all your oral structures in a 360-degree view, including the soft tissues, teeth and bone. He then uses that data to develop a customized treatment plan that uses the optimal areas of highest density jawbone for implant placement.
When needed for more complex implant placement, such as replacing an entire arch of teeth with New Final Teeth in One Day, Dr. Molzan uses special 3D implant planning software to virtually simulate the entire procedure in advance. He then uses a physical guide during the surgery to ensure the implants are placed at the exact angle, depth and location as determined in the software.
Metal-Free Zirconia Dental Implants
Zirconia is the strong, safe and cosmetically pleasing alternative to implants made with traditional titanium.
Dr. Molzan always keeps his patients’ well-being in mind, and to make sure he can accommodate implant patients who require metal-free dentistry, he provides a safe and effective option—dental implants made of zirconia.
Zirconia is an extremely strong dental ceramic that is proven to have great biocompatibility and actually has a higher material strength than titanium. It is so strong and long-lasting, orthopedic surgeons use it to replace hip joints! Zirconia implants last just as long as titanium implants, allow for faster healing and better gum attachment, and are less prone to plaque build-up.
Dr. Molzan provides zirconia implants as an alternative for patients who have metal allergies. Also—since the silver edge of a titanium implant is sometimes visible at the gumline—the tooth-colored ceramic of a zirconia implant is a more aesthetic choice for use in the “cosmetic zone.”
Beautiful New Teeth
Dr. Brown creates the attractive and lifelike new teeth that attach to the implants. She is known for her skills in cosmetic dentistry and for being very picky and detail-oriented. She designs every new tooth for a perfect fit and natural look, and she strives tirelessly to get the best results for every patient. The teeth are made from high-quality materials, including zirconia, and will look great and feel and behave just like natural, healthy teeth.
Your Comfort is Key
Keeping you comfortable before, during and after implant treatment is a top priority for our doctors and staff. They are friendly and informative, and they take the time to fully explain the treatment and answer questions. We also provide comfort amenities and sedation options to help you feel relaxed and at ease.
Frequently Asked Questions About Dental Implants
Do they hurt?
Our patients are often surprised by how little discomfort they experienced during and after getting an implant. They often return to work and regular activities the next day.
Do I need an implant for every tooth being replaced?
No. An implant-supported bridge can replace three or four teeth with just two implants, and a full arch of teeth can be stabilized using a minimal number of implants.
How much do they cost?
We offer very competitive pricing for implant treatment along with affordable monthly payment plans through third-party financing partners.
How long do dental implants last?
With proper oral care and regular maintenance, dental implants have been shown to last over 40 years.

Subperiosteal Implants
If you have too little bone in your lower jaw for standard dental implants, you may still be able to get stable implant-supported teeth. We offer subperiosteal implants which are placed on top of the jawbone instead of being inserted into it. This allows us to treat almost any patient and we are one of the few dental offices in the country who offer this service.
